Our Mission
At Accountable Alternative, our VISION is to empower fathers, mothers, and our youth. Accountable Alternative believes that strengthening fathers, mothers, and our youth is the key to empowering communities to take responsibility for the violence that plague our communities. Accountable Alternative mission is to have our community's violence free.

CHANGE PROGRAM
The change program is a faith- based progam open to male and female federal,state,and juvenile offenders. It is open to inmates across the state seeking grounding in positive values and responsibility. regardless of the presence of religious affillation. Curriculum is also available for paticipants who desire to participate from a non-religious perspective. The curriculum helps paticipants strengthen spiritual understanding and growth in perparation for the challenges and opportunites, of reentry and life in general. Typically ,cohorts, meet weekly in 90 minute sessions for six to nine months and include no more than 20 participants.
Change program is offered throughtout the state utiilizing the leadership of programs religious contractors, community volunteers, and mentors.
The program focus key life areas to lead participants toward a productive, healthy life. The program is a unique program that addresses the needs of participants from preadolescence to adulthood. We group participants into peer communites, of cohorts. Each cohrot is made up of participants whose goals, interests, and abilities are compatible with each other. This allows the best opportunities for paticipants to connect with others to form friendships, and to learn from each other.
